in this universe Steve is starting from the start, way back at Camp Lehigh, where an innocent camp mascot, Bucky Barnes has stumbled in on his secret - that he’s really Captain America. Now he has to train his sidekick up and become the dynamic duo that’ll fight the Nazi’s and prevent the evil schemes of Hydra from taking over the world and lead the USA to victory!

After Gregory Stark has been taken down, Steve Rogers has run for president and is successful. He now runs the white house and is going about his business, though his rising concern for Tony is beginning to surface as much as he wants to suppress it. He’s had to sit through one session of chemo with him already, and now Tony is desperately trying to earn his trust and care again all while convincing him that his tumour, Anthony, is real. Steve’s trying so hard to keep his feeling locked away and to keep his duty first.

Galactus has attacked, and on inpulse, knowing that it was his last hope, and the last hope to help his team, Steve sacrificed himself by driving his plane and steering it straight into the jaws of death - crashing and exploding. While everyone thought that was the last that they had seen of Captain America, the devourer of planets hadn’t destroyed him. Steve has survived, by some sort of miracle. He doesn’t know how, no one else does either, but he’s survived - crashing and landing on an island, where Tony now finds him, barely alive.

Steve and Tony have known each other for years, they’ve been through it all - Demon in a bottle, Red Zone, Civil War, Prime, Secret Invasion and after all of that, after their loves have been lost, with Sharon being killed in Dimension Z and Steve left to cope with that he decides to himself that he needs to act on impulse. He needs to take what he can get, while he can. Years of feelings have boiled up and now the two have to deal with reckless impulsive moves and see where it gets them. It turns out that Steve’s unrequited love isn’t so… Unrequited after all.

Soviet Winter (616)

”The Winter Soldier is in cold storage somewhere in the states. {Something happens} and in the process the building where Winter is being kept is destroyed forcing him out of stasis improperly—which drives him a little crazy for a bit. At this point, he’s only operating on instinct; he has no memories of what or who he is, so he wonders does the whole hobo thing for a bit.

Eventually, he starts to slowly gain back his bearings. Failsafes, he starts checking the classified section of any newspaper he can get his hands on and soon finds what he’s looking for: time and place for an extraction from his ‘handler,’ Lukin.”

Steve Rogers was your average kid, a who had nothing. He grew up during the great depression which resulted in him later on having a great value for everything that he now receives. He was meek as a child and was constantly bullied for his small size, that added to the fact that he had an extremely poor immune system and was diagnosed with every ailment and illness under the sun. Instead he continued with his education, specialising in arts where he constantly depicted himself as a super-hero, or drew heroes that could help save him.

After his mother (Sarah) passed away he faced a severe depression which he masked by engulfing himself in his pursuit of achieving his dream; joining the army and following in the footsteps of his father (Joseph).

He was constantly rejected. Time after time due to his small stature until he was taken on board project ‘rebirth’ where with the assistance of Howard Stark’s technology and Dr Josef Reinstien – he was turned into a super soldier. Initially he was a poster boy, being used for marketing campaigns by the US army in order to encourage recruitment as well as help improve the general PR image.

Breaking the rules and letting his complex get in the way, he decided to take down US’s number one enemy at the time – the Red Skull.

It was during a fight with Baron Zemo - that he had lost his best friend, Bucky Barnes in a tragic fall when the boy wonder was strapped to a rocket. Steve watched the rocket explode and that image had forever haunted his nightmares.

Taking down the Red Skull, he managed to save the country – however, it involved extreme self sacrifice as he steered the plane he was in into the sea. Luckily enough, it was preserved in ice as the sub-zero conditions froze Steve in a block of ice for a number of decades. The super-soldier serum is what had kept him alive all this time, preserved in ice until eventually he was thawed free – waking up, confused, dazed and delusional.

Mun has been roleplaying as Steve Rogers for 4 years now. This is a reboot account after a hiatus.
